Our Founders

It was 1982 when two local entrepreneurs, Jess Dela Cruz and Jacqueline Flores, decided to break from the mold and established Guam Imperial International Inc where they could build an insurance business founded on the values of inafa’maolek (Chamorro phrase meaning “for the good of all”).

Our company started humbly: with two desks for two people in a small Hagatña office. Over the next 40 years, Dela Cruz and Flores’ dedication to service and commitment to the community helped to grow the company into a family of trusted advisors. These agents come from all walks of life, but they share the same goal: to serve the island’s people, especially when they need it most.

Our clientele continues to grow by the day. Many clients have been with the company for decades and continue to entrust our team with their friends and families, confident that Guam Imperial will help them protect their loved ones and prepare for the future. Our clients’ trust is our most valuable gift.
